Electrical Blueprint Reading

Reading a Blueprint is like reading a road map.

It tells you exactly what you are required to build. Read it wrong and you’ll build it wrong – and that can be expensive. This course will teach you how to get the information you need from the most complex electrical Blue Prints.

We’ll teach you how to read and interpret all types of electrical drawings and diagrams used in commercial construction, power and control circuits to control automated machineries and equipment. You’ll learn details on schematics showing single line and block or power-riser diagrams for wire circuits.

For a better understanding of the symbols and how they relate to actual components, students will work during the hands-on session with real world electrical components. Hands-on exercises will also include for the student to create a schematic diagram based on circuit description and actually wire up that circuit and test it for proper functioning
