Our PhilosophyWhen I founded delta Paradigm, Inc. in 2006 I observed what I considered a disturbing trend in the technical training industry. Because of the enormous overheads and rising costs, many larger training companies were cutting their most experienced instructors and replacing them with junior engineers with very little experience in the engineering field. As a result, the classes were becoming very basic and the junior instructors seemed unable to relate to “real life” situations. I wanted to offer an alternative. The name of my company reflects our vision – change (delta) the model (paradigm). We offer more than basic training and our objective is to deliver high quality and up to date services (design, engineering, leadership, training, and analysis) at a reduced cost to our customers. Since the inception of delta Paradigm in January 2006 we have been recruiting highly qualified consulting engineers and instructors and developed a teaming agreement. We at delta Paradigm and with the new team approach have minimal overheads and are able to provide professional consulting and training at a very competitive cost. I personally know each of the consultant engineers and instructors on our team. They are professional and very experienced. Everyone has over 30 years of experience in their specific technology. Several have authored numerous textbooks and published editorials in trade magazines. We all are committed to education and know the importance of providing a quality learning experience. Keeping to the team approach, I continuously look for change and develop new course materials based on my 35 years of experience in the engineering field and training. In every one of our training classes we begin with an overview of the physical principles and laws of that particular technology. As an instructor, I noticed that most training participants lacked an understanding of the physical principles. Without the understanding of the principles even the best maintenance technician will not be able to troubleshoot the failure of his equipment and machineries. Knowledge and experience is based on understanding the principles. However, we do understand that these formulas are not easy to behold, and for that reason I have just recently published a new textbook, “International Measurements and Physical Principles for Fluid Power and Mechanical Technologies”, which will be used as a class reference guide for engineering measurements in the fluid power and mechanical industry. During these hard economic times, I am especially committed to delta Paradigm’s vision and to continue to provide experienced instructors and up to date services at a reasonable cost to our customers. |
